Festival's First Corporate Sponsor
EUNICE, LA, March 30, 2015 – The Experience Louisiana Festival announces ACADIAN MEDICAL CENTER as the festival's first corporate sponsor. Festival committee members Dwight Jodon and Pat Dossman received the contribution from Scott Smith, chief executive officer of Mercy Regional Medical Center/Acadian Medical Center, and Michele Fruge, marketing director.
"We are excited about being a part of this event and hope the rest of the community joins us in supporting this great event,” stated Scott Smith, AMC CEO.
"It is exciting to have the hospital step up as our first major supporter," said Dwight Jodon. "Having AMC's blessing and their participation is significant."
An active supporter of local organizations and events, Acadian Medical Center places a high value on serving the community and maintaining an active presence in projects that promote Eunice and the Acadiana region. With this contribution the hospital joins with project planners and partners to ensure that the festival raises the bar to offer an authentic experience for guests from around the corner and around the world. In addition to financial support, the hospital plans to participate in the festival as well. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the AMC tent. Additionally, AMC will provide resources such as hand sanitizer for the event.
Pat Dossman commented, "We are pleased to have Acadian Medical Center as our first official sponsor. Not only does AMC provide top-quality medical care to our community, but they are also one of the first to support community projects that make Eunice a thriving and vibrant city. We are proud to have the support of AMC."
The festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 17 & 18, 2015 on the campus of LSU Eunice. Follow the festival's Facebook page and website (www.experiencelouisiana.org) to keep up with all of the latest developments.
