EUNICE, LA, September 2, 2015 – The festival received its most substantial financial support to date today. National Park Service Superintendent Lance Hatten, joined by Supervisory Ranger Angela Rathle and local ranger Angelle Bellard, was in Eunice to announce the award. Through the Lower Mississippi Delta Initiative program, the Experience Louisiana Festival was awarded $23,000. These funds will be used to cover expenses related to the festival's core, Folklife Village, as well as talent on the Main Stage. Organizers are grateful for this funding. The National Park Service is a key partner in the development of the festival.
In attendance for the announcement ceremony was a large contingent of members of the
Eunice Rotary Club (Primary Sponsor of the Festival) as well as other partners, including: Dr. Kimberly Russell (Chancellor of LSUE), Dr. Renee Robicheaux (LSUE Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs), The Eunice News, Lakeview Park & Beach, Eunice Community Art House, KEUN, L'Acadie Inn, KBON, City of Eunice, Eunice Chamber of Commerce, St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission and St. Landry Chamber of Commerce.

The festival will be held October 17 & 18, 2015, Campus of LSU Eunice.
