All day, we will be having our Friends of the Library Used Book Sale. 

12:00 – We will have Ms. Gail Quillman Vidrine, co-author of “The Paintings of Joann E. Quillman.” 
Joann E. Quillman painted more than 100 paintings in a variety of media on a variety of surfaces. This book illustrates many of her paintings. It also provides a biography of the painter and a discussion of her interests and techniques.

2:00 - Ms. Jerica Guillory will be reading her children’s book, “The Book That Wanted to be Red.” Following the book reading, she will be autographing copies for sale.
Join a little book who sets out on an adventure based on what he always heard his Mama say… Only to find out, what she meant, was something else entirely!

3:00 - Mr. J. Steven Spires will be reading his children’s book, “Three Little Shrimp.”  Following the book reading, he will be autographing copies for sale.
Set in the coastal waters, Three Little Shrimp tells of childhood wonder amidst a backdrop of lurking danger. The story follows the shrimp as they pursue their curiosity and swim from one adventure to another.

4:00 -  Mr. J. Steven Spires will be reading his children’s book, “The Oak Tree.” Following the book reading, he will be autographing copies for sale.
The Oak Tree is a story of love and hope in the midst of disaster. Written by J. Steven Spires and illustrated by Jonathan Caron, the old oak tree watches as a storm approach its beloved family's home. Although it has weathered many storms, it's concern is not for itself but for the family living next to it.
