Bethany Trahan hails from Lake Charles and is a senior at McNeese State University. The 21 year-old aspiring Public Relations executive is a member of the Chi Omega sorority and is active in the Public Relations Society of America (PRSSA). She dedicates her spare time working closely with the Make A Wish Foundation as well as the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on campus.
Bethany's goal in life is to make a difference by bringing attention to Mental Health Awareness while working closely with NAMI. In doing so, she will use her voice to comfort those who are hurting and educating those who are not.
She enjoys travel and learning about other cultures. Bethany's most relaxing moments are flying with her dad in his helicopter, which she can also fly with his assistance. Her parents are Eric and Michele Trahan, and she has a younger sister Kamryn Trahan (17yo).
Bethany will spend the next year representing Louisiana in appearances across their state and beyond. She will compete for the title of Miss USA in the spring of 2017. She is represented by RPM Productions.
